Aspose PDF Importer Plugin for WordPress allows developers to get/read contents of PDF / DOC document without requiring any other software such as Adobe Acrobat , PDF reader or Microsoft Word. This module demonstrates the powerful import feature provided by Aspose.Pdf & Asppose.Words . It adds a simple button above Editor in WordPress and asks for the file to be imported into the editor. Once the file is provided, users get the document contents displayed on the editor immediately. Plugin Requirements This Plugin works only with PHP version >=5.3 Features Functionality of reading text from the pdf/doc file. You can click on “Aspose File Importer” button, it will popup a box, which will display two tabs “Select Local Files” & “Select Aspose Cloud Storage File”. You can click on “Select file” button and select a pdf or doc file from your local machine, after successful upload, you need to click on the “Insert File to editor” button. It will put the text from the selected file to the editor. Functionality of reading text from the pdf/doc file located at Aspose Cloud Storage.

All the plugins are tested on the same server with exactly same configuration via test script that automatically activates and logs the data WP Hive shows.

  • All the scripts run on a VPS with 8 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM.
  • The test sites are hosted on Google Cloud VM instances, one site/plugin per instance. The machine type is n1-standard-1. The server is a 8 core CPU with 8GB of RAM.
  • The test sites are hosted on Apache/2 server and they are tested on PHP 7.2.16 & WordPress 5.2.4.
  • The database server is MySQL 8.0.15 and the default PHP memory limit is 256MB.
