How exactly can you disable WordPress image attachment pages? I want to stop WP from creating them so I won’t have to bother with them being indexed..

1. Create a child theme.
2. Create file named image.php inside your child theme.
3. Write the following code in the image.php file. This will completely disable the attachment page.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know it and some of the images on my website are indexed as separate pages. Now I activate it in the plugin.

I want to know how can I remove those previous url images that are indexed as separate pages?
Is it automatically deleted by Google in the next crawling?

Wait until Google finds the 404 status during the re-crawl process and removes the page from the index. No need to do anything.
