WordPress 5.3 release dates were confirmed, just a few weeks back. After speaking with component maintainers, WordPress Executive Director Josepha Haden confirmed that WordPress 5.3 will include a new bundled default Twenty Twenty Theme.

WordPress with Gutenberg to be released on November 19 2018

WordPress 5.0 with built-in Gutenberg support will be released on November 19, 2018. The block-based editing experience is the most significant change in WordPress history.

It’s official. The much-awaited version of WordPress, known as “WordPress 5.0” will be released on November 19, 2018, with Gutenberg as the default editor of WordPress.
